Bukit Tinggi Part B

As I have promised, I am bringing you the second part of the trip to Bukit Tinggi.
From the botanical garden, we just take a brisk walk across to the Japanese Garden.

Nevertheless, it is quite a distance though we didn’t feel it. Along the way, we pass beautiful flowers and patches of garden. Ah…flora and fauna at its best!

mosses..

Huge ...about 1 feet long

The walk up the Japanese Garden is wonderful.

View from the top of Japanese Garden!

I love this place. I enjoy the walk in this Garden. Further in, we can rent kimono and walk around in the garden for photography too. Nope, we didn’t rent it because I think it’s a waste of money.

However, this time, I am very disappointed with this place. The pond where they once have water flowing and full with Japanese koi fishes is now dry. The other pond which is further up is murky and rarely can see the fishes in it. Look at the color of the water…

look more like grass then anything else...

murky water

We spend some time walking around the Japanese garden before leaving to the Rabbit park which is a distance away.

Here are some of the pictures taken there.

We actually brought some bread to eat while we are up in Bukit Tinggi. But sad to say Berjaya Resort has a ‘no picnic’ policy here. What a waste. If not, it will be so nice to enjoy the food while enjoy the not so cool air… needless to say, I still go on eating my sandwiches as I stroll in the botanical garden and the Japanese garden…

redness... look nice for food...salad anyone???

Food here is so expensive and I can’t afford to pay for it. And my stomach is already growling…

Cute...I love rabbit, did I tell you earlier?

From Japanese garden, we made our way down to the Rabbit park…I drove pass this place as they have some construction going on beside it. I just miss it! and have to make a u-turn! No signboard to indicate the rabbit park is near too!

Rabbit park is also not well maintained. The rabbit population is going down…

I went in and play with some of the rabbit in there. They have some for us to pet. The children love this place so much, needless to explain why!

Beside the rabbit park, there is also the deer enclosure and the donkey. You can also find the archery range here.

deer...dear???

donkey anyone???

Soon, it is about time for us to leave, we make our way down hill. Along the way, we stop by a stable. I just want to take some pictures with the horses and if the ride is cheap, I want to go a horse ride too. But, they want to charge us RM3 for the entry! I can’t believe it. After paying RM16 to enter into the French theme resort, I have to pay another RM3 just to look at the horses. Riding it will cost me more! So, I left disappointed. VERY disappointed.

Horsie... I will come back to visit you soon!

There is something about me with horses. I LOVE horses. I always wanted to learn how to ride… but anyway, back to this post. We left Bukit Tinggi after that brief stop.

Along the way, we decided to make a detour to Bentong for Kow Po Ice Kacang @ ABC. This small town is smaller than Kajang town where I stay but it seems they do draw a lot of crowd. A lot celebrity comes here for their homemade ice cream. It is rich but I don’t think it’s worth coming all the way here for the ABC.

This stall is just located beside the shell station opposite the bus station. You can see this shop from the main road.

So, from there, we just head straight home, tired but happy!
