Some of my favorite pics

I love photography since young but I don't really have the skills for it. I owned my first camera when I am about 10 years old. Its was film Yashica camera. I remembered when I first went to a trip to China with that camera, I took 12 rolls of pictures. That's lot of picture and money involved back then, from the film to developing it.

Then, I have a new Nikon film camera with zoom lense when I enters university. I used it for a while before I bought my first digital Canon A80 camera. I still like that camera but the zoom lense give me some problem after 4 years of using it. The camera is very user friendly and it's very good for me especially, I needed fast respond. The picture above was taken with that camera.
After that I bought the Canon S5IS semi-pro camera. I must say that I am a heavy user. I took pictures everywhere, everyday and simply on anything. after about a year using Canon S5 IS, I simply love it. It gives me the handling feel of a pro DSLR camera but its so easy to use like the normal compact digital camera.
I purchased the camera for my wedding and used it when we went to Phuket for honeymoon too. I love the pictures that were taken using the camera.
After trying so many brand of camera, I still love Canon. It gives a better feel and grip every time I hold the camera. Futhermore, Canon camera I find it to be more 'responsive'. It works fast and simply gives a better results.
I am not a good camera man, but I think with this Canon camera that I have, it has help me to take better pictures. Sometimes, gadget is important too. The camera that we have will give a good result. Nevertheless, skills are very important. But a good camera, will gives you a good picture. I had been using Canon cameras for about 5 years. At the same time, I do have other compact cameras which was either given to me or win, but I still loves what I have.
Anyway, this post is never intend to be an advertorial for Canon, but simply just to share some pictures that I have taken.

The Culprit - Ratatouille!

I woke up on Sunday morning check on the 'jail' that I set up the night before. I was confidence that this time, I will be able to put him in jail! And I did! But one thing do shocked me! The size of this rat! This is twice the size of the previous rat we caught! But my brother made a comment that this rat is way too small then the rat we found back at our home in Penang! The one that we normally catch in Penang is about triple the size!
However, looking at this rat, it makes me think of the movie Ratatouille!
Don't you think so?

When the cat is not around....

During the Raya, I attended the CZone Planning Retreat in Melaka for 3 days and 2 nights, an unwanted visitor gave a visit. Its common for many who are celebrating Hari Raya to have an open house, to welcome guests and visitors, I don't have one simply because I don't celebrate it. But one visitor just invited itself to my house and had a feast at my balcony! Not just only he help himself to the food found in the balcony, he just simply chewed others too and left trails of destruction behind together with its poo!

It perplexed me how did the RAT actually make its way up the balcony to my 1st floor condominium! This is not the first time I had this problem but the second! So, when my brother called informing of the code red situation, I told him to get our jail out! This rat shall not be trailed but simply will be put into jail under house arrest panel code ISA!

However, after three nights, this rat is still elusive and continue to cause destruction everywhere! I am determined to have it caught tonight as I place new bait!
